I haven’t really been posting here lately and I rarely post personal stuff, but I wanted to update you all about me.
I’ve mentioned before that I’m disabled. And I’ve improved enough over time that I need to be thinking about going back to work. The Department of Rehabilitation is footing the bill by paying all my class fees, for textbooks, and my travel expenses, which is amazing. I’ve decided top go to school to become an MLT (medical lab tech) and last Spring I took my first class. I ended up with a C, because I didn’t really mesh with the instructor’s teaching style, but a C is good enough to progress in my other courses.
Anyway, the DoR pays my expenses within my chosen program, but I also want to take a couple Spanish classes as well. My course load for Fall is looking like BIOSCI 204, HIST 120, MATH 060, and SPAN 101. I’m super excited, but because Spanish is outside the program, I have to meet those expenses myself.
